Sydney Gala Weekend 2019

We are delighted to be able to present our ‘Sydney Gala Weekend 2019’ - an exciting weekend of ‘arts’ experiences, special viewings and the best that Sydney has to offer.

Join us at the luxurious and centrally located InterContinental Hotel.  Enjoy an evening concert with the outstanding Sydney Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Lawrence Renes, with works by Mills, Sibelius and featuring Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2 performed by world-renowned pianist Barry Douglas. A pre-opera dining experience at the Poolside Café will be followed by the latest production from Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour -“West Side Story” which is based on Arthur Laurent’s powerful book, and transformed by Leonard Bernstein’s sensational score, Stephen Sondheim’s perfect lyrics and Jerome Robbins’ explosive choreography.  Following an inspiring private tour we will dine in style at one of Sydney's finest restaurants The Bathers’ Pavilion - with a sumptuous four-course degustation meal accompanied by fine wines.  Interspersed between these fabulous events will be some leisure time to explore Sydney.

Optional extras to attend either Puccini’s Turandot from Opera Australia or a thought provoking play from the Sydney Theatre Company will also be on offer.

Upon request, further details including the cost will be supplied.

To register your interest, please rsvp by Thursday, 13 September 2018 using the link provided.

Please note that in order to attend and confirm your place(s) on the trip, a deposit of $NZ1, 000 per person will be required by Thursday, 20 September 2018
