Latest Updates
APO takes the health of our audience, musicians and staff very seriously. We are monitoring the global situation and following the advice of the Ministry of Health, regarding public events and mass gatherings. We are also working closely with the venue management Auckland Live, who are following the Ministry of Health's recommendations to ensure the safety and health of audience members.
As the situation is shifting quite quickly we will communicate with our audiences, artists and stakeholders appropriately as changes occur. The latest updates will be posted on the APO website, the APO Facebook page and the APO Ticketing line voicemail.
Q. What will happen to APO concerts scheduled for the rest of the year?
A. All concerts scheduled for 2022 will still go ahead. However, we will reassess the schedule if there are further changes to the alert levels. If a concert is cancelled APO or Ticketmaster (depending where you purchased your tickets) will make contact with you with options.
Q. Will APO concerts for the remainder of 2022 have international artists?
A. Each concert will be as close as possible to what was first advertised. In some cases, the conductor or soloist may change as they are no longer able to come to New Zealand. This may also lead to changes in repertoire. If a guest artist is unable to perform or repertoire is changed, we will notify all ticket buyers of the change and your options.
Q. How will the APO notify patrons regarding concert changes due to the Covid-19?
A. In the event of a change or further cancellation of planned events, we will notify subscribers via email and text message. If you bought your ticket through Ticketmaster they will contact you directly. Additionally, we will publish updates on the APO website and Facebook regarding any changes or cancellations.
Q. I feel unwell. Should I attend a concert I have a ticket for?
The Ministry of Health advice for anyone who feels unwell is to not attend a public event. We cannot offer refunds, however we will exchange your tickets for another concert or keep your funds on your account as credit if you are an APO Subscriber. Any enquiries should be directed to [email protected]. Refunds will only be issued in the event of a cancellation.
Q. I don’t feel safe in public spaces, may I have a refund?
We cannot offer refunds, however we will exchange your tickets for another concert or keep your funds on your account as credit if you are an APO Subscriber. Any enquiries should be directed to [email protected]. Refunds will only be issued in the event of a cancellation.
