We are proud to be partnering with Massive Theatre Company for our Kiwi Kapers 2020 concert.  The stories of three remarkable New Zealand women, Nancy Wake, Jean Batten and Ruia Morison, have been developed by Massive Theatre company so that students can learn not just what these women achieved but their motivations.  These stories will be complimented by the full APO playing music by New Zealand composers including Psathas: The Five Million written for the APO to celebrate the sacrifices and achievements of all New Zealanders during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hikoi written by Apo Rising Star Composer 2019 Reuben Rameka alumni of our APOPS partner Aorere College as well as Shore’s Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (not NZ composed perhaps but uniquely connected to New Zealand!).

As our secondary schools concert was cancelled this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, our Kiwi Kapers Concert has been created to be suitable for all age groups.
