See the largest student orchestra of the year to play on the Auckland Town Hall stage!
Once a year, the Auckland Philharmonia welcomes students from the University of Auckland School of Music, players from Auckland Youth Orchestra as well as advanced secondary school students to join a workshop and performance at the Auckland Town Hall alongside the Auckland Philharmonia musicians. Participants are seated next to the Auckland Philharmonia musicians, paired one-to-one, for a powerful and memorable mentoring experience. The workshop comes to fruition in the evening with a free public performance in the Town Hall, delivered by students and Auckland Philharmonia musicians alike.
