APO postpones further concerts due to Auckland Level 4 lockdown

As a result of Auckland’s continued Alert Level 4 lockdown, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO) regrets to announce that the following concerts will not take place as per the advertised date and time.

Baroque & Beyond: Joie de Vivre!
Wednesday 8 September, Holy Trinity Cathedral

APO Session Series: BENEE & THE APO
Friday 10 & Saturday 11 September, Auckland Town Hall

The New Zealand Herald Premier Series: From the New World
Thursday 16 September, Auckland Town Hall

We are currently working with all the associated artists, venues and stakeholders in the hope we can reschedule as many of these performances as possible.

APO Ticketing and Ticketmaster will be communicating with all ticketholders directly and we will share any rescheduled performance dates as soon as possible.

During this lockdown period the APO will be sharing special archived performances online, including footage from our 2021 Beethoven Festival performances.

Follow the APO on Facebook @aporchestra to catch these popular free ‘online’ events.

The APO will continue to monitor Government guidelines regarding the COVID-19 situation and how this relates to future APO events and activities. If changes to events occur, APO will communicate with audiences, artists and stakeholders appropriately as soon as they can. Updates will also be posted on the APO website and the APO Facebook page.

Tickets to individual concerts can be booked through Ticketmaster.
