Assistant Orchestra Manager

Full-time (nine-month contract)

Are you a strong administrator with high precision, a great communicator and have the orchestral knowledge and skills to positively contribute to this busy and dynamic organisation?

We are looking for an experienced arts and/or music professional to assist with the smooth running of the orchestra at Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO), New Zealand’s full time Auckland-based orchestra.

The Assistant Orchestra Manager plays a central role in the busy APO Operations Department. The role works directly with the Director of Operations and Orchestra Manager, as well as maintaining a positive and pro-active working relationship with APO musicians, Music Director, guest artists and the entire APO team.

To be successful in this role you need to be a strong administrator, a great communicator and have the skills and musical knowledge to contribute to the continued success of the APO.
