Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra has announced an artist change to Man, Sitting in a Garden, taking place on Wednesday 15 May at Auckland Town Hall.
Acclaimed New Zealand tenor Jared Holt will join the APO on stage to perform Man, Sitting in a Garden, a new one-man opera with a libretto by award-winning writer Witi Ihimaera and music by composer Kenneth Young.
Holt has a wealth of experience, having enjoyed a successful career as a baritone before making the transition to singing tenor roles. APO is pleased to once again have the opportunity to share the stage with him.
Holt will be replacing tenor Simon O’Neill, who has regrettably had to withdraw from the concert due to ill health. APO wishes O’Neill a speedy recovery and looks forward to performing with him again in the future.
