Argentine pianist Ingrid Fliter has won the hearts of audiences around the world with passionate yet sensitive music-making and effortless technique.
Recent highlights include her debut with the Boston Symphony at Tanglewood and re-engagements with the Toronto, Vancouver and New World Symphony Orchestras. She has also appeared in the UK with the Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic, and City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestras, and the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Proms. Elsewhere, Fliter has performed with the Israel, Hong Kong, Rotterdam and Royal Stockholm Philharmonics. Festival appearances include Aspen, Ravinia, La Roque D’Antheron and the Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Festival. She has given recitals at major venues in Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Prague, Stockholm, Sydney and London’s Wigmore and Queen Elizabeth Halls.
Fliter’s latest recording, the complete Chopin Nocturnes, was released for Linn Records in September 2018 to widespread critical acclaim. In 2006 Fliter won the prestigious Gilmore Artist Award. She has been a professor at the Imola International Academy since 2015.
