Romanian Soprano Brigitta Kele studied singing at the University in Oradea with Lavinia Cherecheş and at the Music Academy Gheorghe Dima in Cluj-Napoca with Gheorghe Roşu und Alexandru Farcaş (until 2005).
She won 2006 the Special Prize of the Jury at the International Competition Bad Mergentheim and 2007 the Agnes Kriza Prize of the Hungarian Opera Cluj-Napoca.
From 2007 to 2012, as soloist of the Hungarian Opera Cluj-Napoca, she sang Pamina (Mozart Die Zauberflöte), Mimì (Puccini, La bohème), Micaela (Bizet, Carmen), Amelia (Verdi, Un ballo in maschera), Saffi (Strauss, Der Zigeunerbaron), Hanna Glavary (Lehár, Die lustige Witwe) und Sylva Varescu (Kálmán, Die Csárdásfürstin).
During the season 2011-12 Brigitta Kele appears at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf as Mimì (La bohème) and Nedda (Pagliacci). She was there in the 2012-16 seasons as a member of the ensemble and afterwards a permanent guest and could be heard as Lauretta, Donna Elvira, Micaela; Violetta Valery, Contessa (The Marriage of Figaro), Liu (Turandot), Desdemona Verdi's Otello.
Among her engagements abroad should be mentioned: Musetta/ La bohème– Opéra de Paris and Metropolitan Opera New York, Nedda / Pagliacci – Opéra de Paris, Opéra d’Avignon, Opéra National du Rhin Strasbourg and NCPA Beijing, Suzel L’amico Fritz - Opéra National du Rhin Strasbourg, Mimì / La bohème – Opéra d’Avignon, Micaela (Carmen) at the Masada Festival.
Her next debut will be in the role of Leonora (Il Trovatore) – 2019 with the National Radio Orchestra Bucharest and 2020 in a NP at the Opéra du Rhin Strasbourg.
